Steve Murphy at Wade Wilson Art

February 1 - 28, 2008

Wade Wilson Art will be featuring an exhibition by Houston artist Steve Murphy from February 1 - 28, 2008 with a reception for the artist Feb. 1, from 6 - 8 p.m.  Sculptor Murphy creates form that originates from pure geometry. His lead-coated, wooden forms recall the essential forms of Ellsworth Kelly, but, of course, Murphy’s uninterrupted forms become object in three-dimensions. The exhibition will feature new sculptures - monumental and maquettes.
